MÁSTIL DE CARBONO
IMPORTANT COMMENT
CARBON MAST
Length 9.98 m
Beam 3.40 m
Draft 2.15 m
Displacement 2,900 kg
The boat is light and very fast in any direction, in light winds and extremely fast downwind in strong winds, as reflected in its 2018 classification.
She won the Giraglia in the regatta category in 1997 and 2004, and now competes in numerous local regattas with her new configuration.
In real time, it outperforms the Grand Soleil 40, the First 40.7 or the XP-38 and is better than a modern ¾ IOR or contemporary boats of the same length.
Built by Gammo Stampi and designed by Besozzi Selveti.
The Jump 33 Racer is an IMS-designed boat with a clean-lined, unlatched hull and a generous draft of over two meters and ten centimeters, similar to Farr's Mumm 30 and 36 designs. It's also an excellent choice for summer cruising.

DESIGN
The Jump 33 Racer is a boat designed under IMS regulations with a clean-lined hull, no bows, and a generous draft of over two meters and ten centimeters, similar to Farr's designs, the Mumm 30 or the 36. Three units were built in Italy, but the project was scrapped because the boat was more expensive to build than a 40-foot Beneteau due to the materials used. With an open cockpit but a cabin that allows a 1.85-cm tall person to stand upright, this is a racing boat with cruising capability thanks to its two independent double cabins and enclosed bathroom, as well as a spacious and bright dinette. It has a large stowage locker in the stern to carry a dinghy, for example. Also unlike other racing boats, it is equipped with an 18-horsepower Yanmar engine that allows it to motor at over 6 knots.
MANEUVERING
The rig was changed in 2015, installing a new, two-deck, slightly split-plank Sparcraft carbon mast with spreaders and a slightly split plank, supported by the keel and the shrouds on the gunwale. The rigging is rod-rigged and retains the original, lightened aluminum boom. The mast weighs 70 kg less than the original, lowering its center of gravity. Rough edges were removed, and maneuvering speed was increased with an easy-to-tack bow jib and a 5-meter-larger mainsail. The cockpit maneuvering has been redesigned, improving headroom and allowing for easier and more accessible sailing, even with a reduced crew. The six winches are oversized Harken self-tailing winches, and the mainsail and clew are easily controlled from the tiller, as is the jib trim. The modern rig is derived from that of a Beneteau Figaro 2, the same dimensions, making it easy to find used sails in France. The rigging and the backsail are made of Dyneema. The boat has a furling genoa with an endless line, a lazy jack, and a lazy bag for solo sailing.
It is equipped with a lightweight carbon pole, for gennaker or asymmetrical sails, and a retractable bowsprit, which can be maneuvered from the cockpit.
COMFORT ON BOARD
The boat features a TV, stereo, refrigerator, battery charger, and pressurized water, as well as interior and exterior LED lights and a summer mesh awning.
ELECTRONICS
A B&G 2000 Hercules with two displays and two maxis on the mast with a fluxgate compass, wind, and depth sounder. It also has a B&G Vulcan 7" graphic depth sounder with a crack in the screen but fully functional and a chart of the area. The boat has a fixed Raymarine VHF with two stations.
